تَنَبَّأ \ forecast: to say what will probably happen: The radio report forecasts rain for tomorrow. predict: to say sth. will happen (often when there is no accepted way of knowing that it will): Who can predict the future from the stars or the lines on a man’s hand?. prophesy: to tell what is likely to happen: The newspapers are prophesying a change in the government.
